This is my second project for type.

The recreation of the breeze card.

This is the original Breeze card.

That task is to recreate the card that we see fit.

By adding what Atlanta is, or means, to me.

My idea is simple, I think because simplicity is my strongest asset.

The idea is Atlanta is an easy going city.

Not much to do except live and better yourself.

This is the idea going with as I created the first draft of the card.

If something is easy, is it not also simple?

That is a yes or no question, depending on who one asks.

For me, the answer is yes.

Simple is easy.

The numbers on the first image relates to how easy using the card can be, 

"It is easy as 1,2,3."

With out the slogan, or me explaining it I doubt anyone would have gotten the idea I was going for on their own.

Which is why I did away with "1,2,3" in the last two images.

Breeze card

With the approval of the teacher telling me I am in the right direction for my Breeze card, I decided to better my simple design.

I did not want branch away to far from the original card colors, nor it's simple idea, or even be cliched.

By changing the cards colors it makes the card less recognizable.
The simple idea is something I am fond of, mainly because I think to myself would a child be able to recognize this if they every had too.
The answer is yes, provided he/she can read.
Being cliched, I mean using a silhouette of a buildings. Nice idea but what will I do to make it different from New Yorks silhouette of buildings. Not much can be done except adding, the words Atlanta.

With that being said here are my new ides for the card, still simple.

Not much has change, in the top card at least, except I added the tag line 

"Tap & Go." 

This is to help marta riders with how marta work.

 The second card is a closer look of what Atlanta is to me.
Atlanta has several places one can vist and explore.
I listed six they are, Hartsfield Airport, Atlanta Braves, Cnn Center, Coca Cola, Georgia Aquarium, and the Congress Center.
I added another tagline, "Bringing Atlanta Closer," which is true.
With the help of Marta Atlanta and it's wonders is a only several steps away.

Yellow and Green Dragon

I forgot to upload this before posting my other post.

I thought these were the most promising but I was sadly mistaken.

Each of these have faults that are hindering them from being "Awesome."

Simple put in the email from my teacher, "Each of the dragon's horde text were squeezed to fit the image. The image and the text needs to be equally balanced."

I see what he meant.

This is the idea I went with for my Critique.

This idea was not apart of my original idea. 

The dragon's head can be seen in my earlier sketch's, facing forward however.

We are here now in a more stable direction than before.

I was told during my critique; omit the yellow eye and make it blue, a darker blue.

 Move the word "Horde" under "Dragon." Also to, re draw the font to make it look more like a fire ball.

The idea is to have the dragon launching a fire ball from its mouth but the fire ball reads "Dragon's Horde."

This will hold me over until I can make the Black and Yellow Dragon on the previous post more effective. I really like that idea but others have said it is very weak. 

The latest sketches of Dh

After presenting what I thought was my Awesome, see last post, I found out the were not finish.

These are my sketches pushed even further.

These are the possible sketches with the same theory, using the three dragon heads from the last post.

It was in the bottom left corner.

The darkened dragon that appears to be looking at the words Dragon's Horde is the best on this page in my opinion. 

This is a sketch of the dragon in the top right of my last post.

I am trying to position the words "Dragon's Horde" correctly, so that it and the Dragon blends.

The best blending idea thus far is to have the Dragon holding the words as though he is crushing it.

The next best is the Dragon standing on the words, still crushing it.

The two sketches simplified.

The Dragon is back.

The dragon is back, it looks better with a Dragon.

A different approach on the same idea

This is my idea with a twist, abandoning the Dragon all together along with any indication of an actual Horde.

I am not very good at continuously posting stuff on this, I think it could be my fault.

Wait I ran today, Sprints!
The point of sprint run is to run as hard as I can to reach my target number of laps with in the shortest amount of time.
Today was horrible. My goal was to do six laps, I settled for five.
No, I did not measure my time.
I felt as though I had not ran in over 3 months, I am so out of shape for sprints.
I am going to do sprints again before the week is out, along with distance run.
